So you think
it makes a difference
that vote you cast
As if the choices were not already
preordained
laid out like comfortable jammies
on your cozy bed
your party is right and the others are so wrong
you hate them
spitting and ranting
your candidate is best
Did you know
they are telling you so
you believe what you want to
you believe what they want you to
there must be order
there must be good guys in white fucking hats
yeah your guy has all the answers
that's what they always say
meanwhile you are killing youself
to live here
in their world
this is what they give you
it will never get better
it will get worse
oh so much fucking worse my babies
before you realize
you have been duped
